Research

The group is conducting cutting-edge research towards the personalized treatment optimization of diabetic patients and the improvement of diabetes self-management. Simulation and control of physiological systems, decision support systems, vital signal processing, computer vision algorithms, and e-/ m-Health solutions are explored into three projects related to control of glucose profile, estimation of carbohydrate intake and quantification of glycemic variability.
