RetinAI secures AI Application Award at MICCAI
The ARTORG spinoff RetinAI has won the “AI Application Award” at MICCAI 2020. The startup that aims to support eye care professionals and patients throughout the medical examination process convinced the jury with its technology applying machine learning, computer vision and signal processing.
RetinAI leverages unique pieces of technology developed by the ARTORG AI in Medical Imaging (AIMI) unit, integrating them with software solutions to aggregate, manage, and analyse health data for research and health institutions.
MICCAI brings together scientists, engineers, physicians, surgeons, educators and students and stands for Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention. In its 2020 annual conference “Startups Village Pitch Competition” the society chose five category winners from more than 100 submissions.
