PhD thesis defense Suyi Hu
Congratulations to Suyi Ju, Hearing Research Lab (HRL), for his successful PhD thesis defense on 18 May 2021! Suyi has computed a “Bayesian Brain-Inspired Computational Modeling of Tinnitus and Residual Inhibition” as his PhD project. With this contribution he aimed to add to the so-far incomplete understanding of Tinnitus and further the development of effective diagnostic and treatment strategies.
Suyi Hu has studied residual inhibition in tinnitus and the influence of hearing loss and tinnitus chronicity for his PhD, also developing a computational model based on the Bayesian brain tinnitus hypothesis.
