PhD thesis defense Angela Botros

Congratulations to Angela Botros, Gerontechnology and Rehabilitation (GER) lab, for successfully defending her PhD project on 15 February 2022! Angela has been investigating “Unsupervised health monitoring in home-like environments” in collaboration with the Department of Neurology at Inselspital with a special focus on tracking symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

In her research, Angela Botros has further developed continuous home-monitoring systems and assessed application in real-world scenarios, e.g. to measure Parkinson's progression at home. (© ARTORG Center)
