PhD thesis defense Samuel Knobel

The ARTORG Center congratulates Samuel Knobel for successfully defending his PhD thesis on 8 June 2022! His project “Development and evaluation of adaptive neglect therapy tools with visual, auditive and tactile modalities using virtual reality technology” focused on assessing the feasibility of using virtual reality as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool for patients with unilateral spatial neglect after stroke, in collaboration with the Department of Neurorehabilitation at the Inselspital and Kantonsspital Luzern.

Samuel Knobel has investigated the feasibility of several new virtual reality tools for detection and rehabilitation of visual neglect. (© ARTORG Center)
