PhD Defense Alberto Mantegazza
Congratulations to Alberto Mantegazza, newest PhD of the Cardiovascular Engineering Lab at ARTORG! He successfully defended his PhD thesis “Experimental investigations of red blood cell partitioning in artificial microvascular networks” on 21 August 2020, developing in vitro models of cerebral capillary networks to investigate the red blood cell fluid dynamics and partitioning at microvascular bifurcations.
Alberto Mantegazza wants to improve our understanding of the local mechanisms governing cerebral blood perfusion.
