Call for Applications - For Women in Science Award Switzerland

Beginning of this year, Switzerland has launched its own program under the international umbrella of “For Women in Science.” For Women in Science is a successful global cooperation of UNESCO and L’Oréal promoting women in science since 1998.

The new “Swiss L’ORÉAL – UNESCO For Women in Science” program will support four outstanding female early-career scientists working in Switzerland each year – with an award worth 25’000 Swiss francs. This program is made possible through the partnership with L’Oréal Switzerland, the Swiss Commission for UNESCO and the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW).

Applications have already opened on February 03 and will close on March 31, 2025. Selection of the four winners will be on September 04, 2025.
