Curriculum Vitae
Ioannis Papathanail was born in Thessaloniki in 1996. He entered the Electrical & Computer Engineering Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2014 with the 6th highest grade of his year. The title of his diploma thesis was "Audiovisual speaker diarization techniques". In 2020, he received the diploma degree in Electrical Engineering in the direction of "Electronics and Computer Engineering" with a grade of 7.72 out of 10 ("Very Good"). He is currently a PhD student, focusing in AI in Health and Nutrition, at the ARTORG Center which belongs to the University of Bern. His current scientific interests lie in the field of Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Audiovisual analysis.
