2014 - 2016 UNIVERSITY OF BERNE | MASTER IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
My Master-Thesis was about recognizing and extracting moving objects via optical flow fields from video sequences.

2011 - 2014 UNIVERSITY OF BERNE | BACHELOR IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
My Bachelor-Thesis was about simulating physically accurate the effect of diffraction.

With a technical background and personal interest in sensing devices and machine learning, I have a strong intention to find solutions for objective assessments of digital measures in neurodegenerative diseases. I graduated with a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Bern in 2016. After graduation, I worked in industry as a software engineer and returned to the university as a PhD student in 2020. My current work focuses on the extraction of motor functions by analyzing multi-modal sensing with AI approaches.
