PhD thesis defense Tim Fischer
The ARTORG Center congratulates Tim Fischer, Hearing Research Lab (HRL), for his successful PhD thesis defense on 6 May 2021! Tim investigated audio signal processing of multiple sound sources for cochlear implant users with his project "Spatial Hearing with Cochlear Implants: Development and Evaluation of Signal Processing Strategies".
Tim Fischer has developed a dynamic sound field test setup that enables fast, reproducible, and life-like measurement conditions that can help clinically assess spatial hearing performance of CI users.
