Kevin Debeire is a postdoctoral researcher in AI in Health and Nutrition at the ARTORG Center (University of Bern, Switzerland) since 2026. He focuses on developing and applying causal discovery methods and mechanism-informed AI methods in healthcare. He serves as a lecturer on Reinforcement Learning at the University of Bern. In 2025-2026, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where he worked on physics-constrained generative models for machine-learning-based downscaling. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the TU Berlin (2019-2024) centered on causal inference for climate science. In 2018, he obtained an engineering diploma from ENSTA (Paris, France) in Applied Mathematics and a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
