Ömer Alkaya holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich, with a focus on computer vision and machine learning. He conducted both his theses at DisneyResearch|Studios Zurich, working on computer vision and image processing problems. His current research interests include mechanism-informed and multimodal AI for healthcare, with a particular focus on causal modeling, representation learning, and hybrid approaches that integrate data-driven methods with prior knowledge.
