Vasilis Dedousis holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Crete and an MSc in Statistics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, where his graduate thesis applied statistical learning methods to water polo analytics. He has previously worked on wildfire detection using machine learning in image analysis, as well as mathematical modeling for linguistic research. He is currently a PhD candidate working on deep learning methods for the diagnosis and prognosis of Lung Diseases using multi-modal imaging data, with a broader interest in statistics and machine learning applications in biomedicine.
