The MSCA PF are open to postdoctoral researchers from all disciplines who are within eight years of their PhD defense and who have an experienced supervisor. Two types of fellowships are available:
1) European Fellowships allow postdocs of any nationality to apply for a two-year position at UniBE, provided they have not lived or worked in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the three years before 10 September 2025. Postdocs who have recently arrived may still be eligible to apply.
2) Global Fellowships allow postdocs to spend up to two years at an institution outside an EU Member State (MS) or Associated Country (AC), followed by a one-year return phase to an EU MS or AC, e.g. Switzerland. Applicants must be citizens or long-term residents of an EU MC or AC, and must not have lived or worked in the outgoing host country for more than 12 months in the three years before 10 September 2025. Both current postdocs at UniBE and new arrivals are eligible to apply.

Do you want to learn about a specific OOC technique? Vasculature-on-Chip? Lung-on-chip? If so, you can get a grant from the 3RCC to visit our lab.
The Swiss 3R Competence Centre is offering grants of up to CHF 10,000 to support short-term visits (1 day to 8 weeks) to other labs in Switzerland or abroad. The goal is to help researchers learn and implement 3Rs approaches (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) through hands-on training.
Who can apply: PhD students, postdocs, technicians, and lab assistants currently working in Switzerland.
